Just a hop across the road from Centric:3Tribes lies Tootoomoo – a fresh pan Asian restaurant. Deceivingly small from the outside, the space opens up into a tropical contemporary oasis. With wafts of fresh Asian food and the clanking of woks from the open kitchen – it’s easy to forget you’re in Crouch End.
The menu includes; soft shell crab tempura with a shichimi salt and jalapeño mayo, duck and watermelon salad with cashew and hoisin. Thai green curry, lemongrass prawns, pad Thai, grilled salmon and freshly made sushi.
Expect a healthy dose of gluten free and vegetarian options too. Wash all of this down with an Asian inspired cocktail like the spicy cucumber margarita.
The menu also has a large selection of small plates, they recommend three per person. If you’re feeling indecisive, try the tasting menu of 6 plates for £30.
If you want to eat to your hearts content (post weekend workout of course!) then try the bottomless brunch with or without booze from £30 per person for 1.5 hours. Oh and what’s better, they deliver! Wave goodbye to that greasy Chinese takeaway, and say hello to fresh tasty Asian cooking delivered directly to you in your pyjamas!
