With the number of vegans in Britain having risen by more than 360% in the past decade and around one in every 118 people giving up meat*, Young’s have created some deliciously virtuous plant-based options.

These include herb roasted sweet potato, spinach & celeriac filo pie with latest food trend, purple broccoli and toasted almonds & herb yoghurt; and wild rice, saffron, orange & kipper kedgeree.

Vegan options of charred cauliflower steak, butternut squash puree, savoury pistachio crumble and charred fennel, orange, walnut & buckwheat salad pickled Romanesque & pomegranate will also feature.

For the best of both worlds, Young’s and Geronimo have introduced dishes that are perfectly nutritionally balanced – healthy and indulgent so to speak.

Choices include heritage squash, butterbean & black cabbage stew, Sussex charmer dumplings with Young’s bitter sourdough or celeriac, black cabbage, squash & hazelnut crumble, root vegetable mash.

Nutritious meat dishes served alongside fresh, seasonal vegetables include a braised beef shin stew served with latest superfood, seaweed mash and honey glazed Chantanay carrot; or the Omega-3 rich charred Cornish mackerel with golden beetroot piccalilli, celeriac puree.

For those who seek a classic pub dining experience, retreat to the pub and delve into the hearty braised pork cheek casserole with black pudding and Beauvale blue cheese dumplings; wild boar meat balls with roasted heritage carrot & buttered mash or Somerset brie, bacon & cranberry stuffed chicken, sweet potato hash.
