Yoke

Escape the hustle and bustle of Dalston high street with a visit to Yoke. A small and airy yoga space at Stamford Works studios opposite the Vortex Jazz Cafe.

From the Sanskrit word ‘yuj’ meaning to unite body, mind and spirit, Yoke offers a variety of classes with a mainstay of Vinyasa and flow-based movement. Try Donation Flow & Restore for something more soothing.

They also run monthly workshops including a gong bathing ceremony designed to burn through karmic blockages.

If you’re making a day of it rise, shine and dine with a DOSE style ‘Yoga Brunch’ held every Sunday morning. 90 minutes of dynamic vinyasa followed by brunch courtesy of Brunswick East Coffee.

Brunch options include a homemade coconut and chia breakfast pudding with acai and a sweet corn, halloumi and courgette fritter stack. Wash down with an Alchemy coffee or fresh juice. We recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment!

If you haven’t booked the Sunday Brunch class, we still recommend a post sweat-fest brunch at Brunswick East Coffee next door. For a cheeky cocktail, head to Jones & Sons for a Dalston Dandy.
