1. Six Senses London at The Whitely

The Whiteley marks the London debut of unrivalled wellbeing and sustainability brand Six Senses, renowned for creating some of the most refined holistic hideaways across the globe, where mind and body can be reset and rebalanced.

‘Six Senses Place’ will be a new kind of social club where wellness, community and celebration meet, and sustainability is central to its design and operations. The club adopts the Six Senses belief that wellness is anything and everything that results in mental, physical, spiritual and emotional happiness. It’s about finding the perfect balance, while broadening your horizons. Fitness fans will also find Barry’s West located at the end of Queensway before the entrance to Hyde Park.

Magnificently situated at Hyde Park Corner, The Peninsula London occupies one of the city’s most prestigious addresses. Guests can expect a diverse array of relaxation and well-being choices. These include mind-body therapies available at The Peninsula Spa and Wellness Centre, including massages, face and body treatments, and balancing rituals incorporating Ayurvedic aromatherapy; exercise classes and workshops offered at the fully equipped modern fitness centre, and peaceful swimming in a dramatically lit 25-m indoor swimming pool. A dedicated Wellness Portal will also provide guests with in-room, round-the-clock access to wellness programmes like guided strength-training routines, aromatherapy self-care rituals, and audio meditations.

Guerlain Spa Raffles London

3. Raffles London at The OWO

Raffles London at The OWO launches in 2023 and will house London’s first Guerlain destination spa and a members-only health club in partnership with movement specialist PILLAR. The Guerlain Spa and Pillar Wellbeing will offer a holistic wellbeing experience with a focus on restorative wellness and active training. Designed by interior design studio Goddard Littlefair, the expansive spa and wellness space will occupy four levels at the heart of the grade II-listed property. It will feature nine treatment rooms and a separate VIP area, two couples suites, and beauty treatment spaces, including a barbers and salon.

The Guerlain Spa at Raffles London will feature nine treatment rooms including a barber & salon, beauty treatment spaces, GUERLAIN boutique including High Perfumery collection as well as a separate VIP area and two couple suites. The active wellness spaces, driven by PILLAR, comprise an extensive gym and yoga studio, juice bar, striking 20m swimming pool complete with a vitality pool and steam and sauna rooms.

4. Mandarin Oriental, Mayfair

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is expanding its presence in London with the opening of Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London in spring 2023. Sitting on historic Hanover Square, in the heart of London’s most stylish neighbourhoods, where fashion, media, art, and business intersect, the new property is a discreet, sleek, and intimate sister property to the award-winning Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

The urban spa will focus on renewal and recalibration and will feature an indoor 25-metre swimming pool, sauna, vitality pool, relaxation room and a myriad of bespoke wellness treatments.

The property has been designed by internationally renowned Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners with the interiors of the public spaces by Tokyo based studio Curiosity and the guest bedrooms and suites by Studio Indigo. The hotel will comprise 50 guest rooms and 77 private residences, the first namesake Akira Back restaurant in the UK from Michelin Star award winning Chef Akira Back, as well as his ‘ABar Lounge’ concept and ABar rooftop bar.

1 Hotels will debut its UK brand flagship hotel in the heart of Mayfair. Overlooking Green Park, 1 Hotel Mayfair’s eco-conscious, modern design will echo its nature-inspired mission, by bringing the outdoors in. The hotel will feature a Bamford Wellness Spa offering a selection of carefully curated treatments, mind and movement classes, each devoted to relaxing, restoring and nurturing your well-being in a gentle holistic way.
