Wild by Tart’s wreath making masterclass

Hosted by florist Wild at Heart, this wreath making workshop will take place at Wild by Tart’s Christmas fair, 30 November and 1 December. There are two masterclasses on the 30th, at 11am and 3pm, and each takes 1.5 hours. Tickets are £85 and you’ll get a take-home asymmetric willow base wreath with dried flowers. Plus on 1 December, Wild by Tart’s pastry team will lead a Gingerbread House workshop. Tickets cost £75 each and include the two-hour workshop, mince pies, mulled wine or hot chocolate, and a Gingerbread House to take home.

MasterPeace Creative Studios

Masterpeace in Belgravia’s Ecclestone Yards is a drop-in boutique art gallery where you can paint and draw – with a twist. Using a simple projector, adults and children can ‘trace’ and paint a personal picture they love (chosen from their phone.) More importantly, it’s all done in a super mindful way, with inspiration, guidance and support from expert instructors. Sessions range from 30-90 minutes, and you’ll leave with a finished canvas. It’s £49pp, which includes bottomless prosecco and grazing boards.

Life Drawing with Alexandria Coe

The Stratford hotel is hosting artist and tutor, Alexandria Coe for a series of Life Drawing classes. Learn to unwind in an intimate setting with this relaxed life drawing class focusing on the female form. Alexandria will guide guests through a variety of techniques and teach how to master her classic technique of minimal line drawings.The ticket includes the 2=two hour workshop, glass of wine, and refreshments. All levels are welcome and it’s a monthly event that costs £60.

Sustainable Christmas wreath making workshop with Rebel Rebel

Also at the Stratford Hotel is East London’s floral genius’s, Rebel Rebel, for a fun, festive and eco-friendly Christmas wreath making workshop. Enjoy a glass of mulled wine while you listen to Christmas tunes, as Rebel Rebel guide you through the workshop. The Rebel elves will show you step by step how to choose your foliage, prepare your design and then create your own Christmas wreath. You then get to take your finished masterpiece home with you. All materials and equipment are provided. All the materials sourced are natural, compostable but long-lasting. Tickets are £55.

MYO

MYO (short for Make Your Own) calls itself an art gym, because you can flex a range of creative muscles. With 14 classes available, everything from calligraphy to making a plant hanger and trying your hand at silk screen printing is possible at this Borough studio. They’re all suitable for beginners and BYOB and food – but all equipment is provided. The perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Bread Ahead

What’s better than creating crafts you can eat? At Bread Ahead (Borough Market, Soho, Chelsea, Wembley) festive baking classes are currently on. Suitable for both beginners and seasoned bakers, workshops include Christmas Celebration Bakes Workshop, Festive German Baking Workshop, Mince Pie Workshop and a Panettone Workshop. They take hours, but anyone who’s ever tried Bread Ahead’s doughnuts knows it’s worth it.

Winter Forest

Head to The Winter Forest at Broadgate Circle. Open until December 20, it will play host to a series of exciting events including creative and stylish workshops from luxury florists Grace and Thorn. Guests will learn to create a festive hand tied bouquet, to complete theirChristmas decorations at home.

Boom Cycle is hosting a Body Oil Candle Making with Litwicks on November 28. Ever fancied making your own skincare? At the workshop, you’ll learn how to make your very own nourishing body oil candle and natural lip balm. Spend an hour learning about essential oils, holistic properties and mixing your own blend. Then you will be guided through pouring your own luxury candle and an all natural lip balm to take home.
