Battersea Yoga

On the corner of Battersea Park, a 5 minute bus ride from Clapham Junction lies Battersea Yoga. A sanctuary of calm, far from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Hidden down a private driveway, discover an unpretentious space full of warm, welcoming energy and enchanting smells.

Discover a larger studio for group hatha yoga classes and a smaller, more intimate space for mindfulness and one-to-one sessions. They also have a range of in-house specialists from energy healers to acupuncturists as well as pre and post natal yoga classes.

If you’ve had a tough week, try their restorative candle-lit yoga class (every Friday night). Or if you’re feeling particularly fragile, opt for some restorative meditation with a gong bath. For more sensitive souls, it can feel like you’re being massaged all over, as waves of sounds vibrate through the body. But it’s not for everyone…

If you want to amp up your meditation practice while covered in UV face and body paint… Wild Things is the one for you. An alternative night out that fuses rhythmic beats, conscious dance, yoga and sound-healing.

While dancing about in a room full of strangers, sober on a Saturday night might feel strange for some, it’s surprisingly addictive, once you loosen up a bit… Try for yourself on Sat 20th May or Sat 1st July 2017 (6.30-9.30pm).
