THE GREAT HOUSE, ANTIGUA
As a former family home, The Great House has everything needed for an extended stay. There are just 8 spacious suites divided between the historic Great House and traditional Antiguan cottages set in 26 acres of tropical gardens. Work can be done from the comfort of an air-conditioned suite, balcony or verandah, the drawing room in the Great House, various patios dotted around the grounds, or while lounging by the pool.
Keeping fit is made easy with daily exercise classes held outdoors on a deck by the sugar mill, nature hike around the extensive gardens or heading down to the sea for kayaking. There is also a full service spa onsite. Healthy eating is very much a focus with at least half the ingredients coming from the onsite kitchen gardens while the rest are sourced daily from local markets. Meals are enjoyed outdoors in a canopied courtyard.
