Mix it up at Centric3:Tribes in Crouch End with high-intensity training (warrior), yoga and barre (zen) or indoor cycling (rider)…

A hybrid fitness experience with the monopoly on the Crouch End market, fusing yoga, bootcamps and indoor cycling under one roof.

Try the 50-minute HIIT style Warrior class. A mash up of running on a treadmill with the lights down low and a weights section on the floor to a pumping playlist. Sound familiar? They also throw in some TRX to keep things interesting. Classes vary between Full Body, Push (arms, back and chest) Pull (legs, bums and tums) and TRX (using your own body weight).

If you’re a fan of indoor cycling, try Rider, where you’ll pedal to beats with choreographed dance, jumps, sprints and hand held weights. Book your bike online and ride in the high-intensity, low impact, full body cycling amphitheatre. Each ride is between 45 and 60 minutes. Or if you’re ready to unleash your inner athlete, ride in a Peloton class and compete against yourself and other riders.

The power output of each bike is displayed at the front of the studio so don’t spell out your actual name if you’re feeling shy… Besides, if you’re feeling the ride (but not the race), you can always opt out of the display. At the end you can have your calorie count and power statistics sent straight to your phone.

Themed rides include ‘Rock n Ride’, ‘Disco-drop’ and ‘Hip Hop Ride’. They even have a ‘Teen Ride’ for teens over 4’11” and over 12… though parents must attend the first session to sign a waiver. How embarrassing…

New to class? Try Ride 101 that helps you get the basics right with greater emphasis on the fundamentals of alignment, positions and speed control.

Or if you’re looking for something more diverse, try the weekly ‘Mixed Tribe Mash Up’ to give you a unique taster of all classes. Whether it’s a 30 minute Rider followed by 30 minute Zen or Half Warrior, Half Rider – you’re sure to find the perfect Mash-Up. They’re not called the mixologists of fitness for nothing…

For post workout refreshment be sure to swing by Ginger & Mint for a cold pressed juice or The Haberdashery for leisurely brunch fare (eggs, salmon, avocado, that sort of thing…). Though be prepared to battle the prams for a seat. There’s no need to sit sweaty in your kit either! Centric 3:Tribes have showers on site.
