Waind Gohil + Potter Architects and Jane Artus Interiors are the creative team behind the stylish gym complex, using polished concrete, steel framed glazed screens and exposed services alongside colour-changing lighting to reinforce the dynamic workout experience! We also love their branding by Bibliothèque who worked closely with the team to develop a strategy, tone of voice, naming of classes.
Try Accelerate – 45 minutes of endurance cycling in a basement nightclub with a throbbing sound system and statement Tron style lighting. For high-intensity training try Velocity – athletic interval training, with fitness, function and flexibility at its core. Or if you’re a fan of TRX style workouts, try Resistance.
They also offer Mat Pilates and Sculpt – Ballet, contemporary dance and cardio combined to promote a lean and flexible body. If you’ve worked your body to exhaustion, treat it to some active recovery with Stretch. When only yoga will do… try their fast-flowing 55 minute Power Yoga class.
Post workout, envelop yourself in an enormous bath sheet (because sometimes towels won’t do!) and lather up with Bamford ammenities in the shower, before heading on your merry way. There is a kitchen on site if you fancy hanging around for Aussie style eggs, Ozone coffee or a wholesome salad box.
If you fancy a change of scene, try Café Phillies over the road. An all day breakfast joint serving the usual smoked salmon, poachies and avocado. Wash down with a pink grapefruit juice or Kir Royale! For something special, you’re only a 7-minute walk from The Ivy Kensington Brasserie.
