If you’re a fan of competitive sports and video games, you’ll fit in just fine at Digme. An immersive indoor cycling experience in Moorgate, down the corridor from Barrecore.
Discover a dramatic, nightclub style studio with theatre seating and colourful strobe lights. Climb aboard your Keiser M3i bike that tracks and measures data and clip in your cleats (complimentary shoes are provided).
The instructor faces towards you on a stage (instead of into an abyss like at Les Mills’ The Trip). There’s also a large screen behind displaying a virtual race with a team of avatars cycling along a scenic route. We say team… but view each one as the enemy. This is a competition after all.
While they all look the same, the give away is your bike number that corresponds to an avatar on the screen. And a dreaded leaderboard that intermittently pops up during the class, displaying your efforts for all to see.
A little healthy competition definitely helped us to work a bit harder. But don’t expend all your energy at once. This is all about stamina and endurance…
Shower off with Cowshed products, and swing by the on-site cafe for an Innermost protein shake, or light meal from Nourish Kitchen.
Post class, you’ll receive an email with a summary of your ride with information on milage, calories, watts, cadence and RPM.
