Want to know what the managing director of a top media agency spends on her health and wellbeing? From collagen supplements to 10 packs of PT sessions, it’s all worth it to keep her sparkling in the boardroom…
How much do you earn?
Gym membership, pay-as-you-go classes or both?
Both. I like having a routine at the gym where I have access to good personal trainers and a spa but I like discovering trendy new classes and trainers.
How much do you spend on your wellbeing per month?
£124 on my gym membership at Third Space.
£134 on PT sessions.
£30 on additional drop-in classes. I’m a big fan of Victoria Grove’s classes at Fierce Grace.
£5 on swimming.
£150 (monthly average) on manicures, pedicures and facials. I’ll treat myself to a massage every other month.
£120 skinade collagen drinks (they’ve done wonders for my skin) and other supplements.
£100 on random health fixes/treats.
Total: £663 per month
What is the most extravagant thing you’ve ever done for your wellbeing?
I once booked 10 hours of PT in one go. But I would love to go on a week-long Ayurvedic yoga retreat… that will be my next extravagance in the future.
If you don’t work out regularly and eat healthily, how do you feel?
Sluggish, bloated, not sparkly.
Is health the new wealth?
For the wealthy it probably is. I have only been able to afford this lifestyle since I became more affluent. But being healthy should be accessible to everyone.
