As far as festivals go, we tend to throw ourselves in wholeheartedly at DOSE, whether it’s wellness, food or music related. And we’re pretty excited for this latest festival offering: Wine over Water, aka London’s first floating wine festival, from Wanderlust Wine.

What to expect

Make your way to the Tamesis Dock boat on September 22 and September 23 for great views over the Houses of Parliament, the chance to drink some fabulous wines and meet new people. You can taste and explore more than 50 international wines (we’re talking everywhere from New Zealand to Romania), chat to their makers and hear about their individual stories.

Whether you’re an expert or a total novice, you’ll learn something and probably have a lot of fun in the process. Plus, you can pick up the latest wine trends to wow your friends with (apparently wines from volcanic island like Sicily are where it’s at; take note) and enter tasting competitions. Better still, you can also purchase your favourite bottles (be sure to stock up) and nibbles will be served, too. What’s not to love?

You can book a slot (it’s 11am-2pm or 2.15-5pm) and buy tickets here

Charlotte is a London girl through and through. She sweats through spin and puffs through Pilates to justify trying the latest restaurants and devouring copious amounts of sweet potato fries, burrata and bread – preferably on holiday. Her favourite destinations include Italy, the Maldives and anywhere where the sun’s shining and there’s a strong breakfast buffet. She’s obsessed with walking, visiting farmers’ markets and reading. She’s also learning to cook. Wish her (and her husband) luck.
