Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals has arrived in Fitzrovia. Enter a verdant Victorian paradise and feast on honey crumpets, topped with whipped honey butter and rosemary honeycomb or drunken pineapple truffles topped with coconut, washed down with some heavenly herbaceous drinks…

Downstairs

Find a seating area shrouded in plants and hanging ivy with a handmade oak wooden bar surrounded by floriferous foliage. The downstairs cocktail menu showcases Mr Fogg’s most unusual botanical finds with Amazonian plants, luscious leaves and tongue-tingling spices just some of the flavours you will be able to explore and experiment with.

Upstairs

Head upstairs and discover a more intimate cocktail experience: The Secret Language of Flowers Menu. Inspired by the Victorian tradition of expressing secret emotions through the giving of certain flowers, each drink represents a different flower and feeling, from love to forgiveness.

Intrepid guests can indulge inside Mr Fogg’s Glass House, a place of invention and exploration. The Glass House, complete with an endless array of experimental Kilner jar infusions to choose from, is available to hire for everything from floral cocktail master classes to guided tasting parties.

Heavenly herbaceous drinks include; Flight of the Hummingbird, guaranteed to have you all of a flutter with its blend of Bacardi Carta Blanca, Aperol, raspberry, spiced pineapple, celery, citrus and egg white and Cherry Blossom, a heady mix of Star of Bombay gin, Evangelista Ratafia, almond, pineapple, falernum, lime and Sakura tea foam.

Serving up an array of floral themed fayre, Mr Fogg’s household staff will treat guests to miniature marvels of; Confit chicken & pine nut croquettes with roasted chicken gravy & chives, filling fodder such as; Sweet potato fries loaded with crispy lamb, orange mayo, feta, confit onion & spiced sesame, Sweet corn & chickpea fritters with halloumi and basil yogurt as well as Smoked trout served with a cucumber salad, juniper berry sour cream & spiced soda bread.

Those looking for a sweet treat can indulge in Mr Fogg’s Honey Crumpets, topped with whipped honey butter and rosemary honeycomb or Drunken Pineapple Truffles topped with coconut. Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals will feature grand floor to ceiling French doors, opening out on to the outdoor seating area complete with dainty Victorian furniture, the perfect spot for an al fresco drinking adventure underneath the stars.

The entrance also features an eye-catching evergreen exterior of beautiful blooms and leaves, changing in harmony with the seasons.
