OPUS

A personal training led gym on Latimer Road, a ten minute walk from Ladbroke Grove station and Portobello Market. If your handbag has left you lopsided, or you’re suffering a case of tech neck, pay them a visit to correct bad habits…

Created by David Kingsbury, a former rugby player whose career was cut short following a hip injury, this gym suits anyone training towards a goal, recovering from an injury or simply looking for a one-on-one.

Their mindful movement method focusses on developing postural control, muscle symmetry and core strength. The opposite of hurling yourself into a HIIT class without thinking of the consequences…

The group of trainers have an interest in corrective exercise with experience handling complex injuries. Their aim is to get to the root cause of any complaint and work with clients to build stronger, more flexible and resilient bodies, capable of coping with the demands of modern lifestyles.

They will even track efforts as you train with a MYZONE heart rate monitoring system.

Prefer training with your mates? Sign up for a group session with strength work and reformer pilates (maximum of three people).
