A weekend in Kentish Town

 Why Trust Us

Disclosure

Located just north of Camden Town, it would be easy to overlook Kentish Town in favour of its eclectic neighbour. Yet this area is home to some hidden gems, perfect for discovering over a weekend.

Start your morning with a class at Fierce Grace’s Hothouse location, where drop-ins are priced at a very reasonable £10.

Having sweated out the night before, head to The Grafton for their special Saturday ‘Bottomless Brunch, BBQ and Beats’: bottomless Bellinis, Bucks Fizz or lychee prosecco cocktails alongside a BBQ and live music on the all-weather terrace.

As evening draws in, head to Ladies & Gents either for a nightcap or a warm-up drink. Don’t miss the opportunity to try a cocktail containing their very own Highwayman Gin, produced on-site in a copper still using locally sourced Juniper, coriander and angelica root.

Beef and Brew

Soak up the booze at Beef & Brew either with a steak cooked to your liking or a hearty burger or salt beef sandwich. The early bird (6-7pm) deal of steak and chips for a tenner is an absolute steal.

As London becomes increasingly commercialised, Kentish Town’s independent bars, cafes and fitness hotspots are a welcome retreat. And where else can you get a top-notch yoga session, cocktails and steak for 25 quid?! Count us in.
