Guests are encouraged to retreat from the revelry and recharge with explore a wealth of wellness experiences. They can meet highly regarded yogis for masterclasses, box or dance themselves fit, explore mind and soul at workshops on love and self-care, or escape to the lakes and forests for wild classes.
This year Wilderness has introduced 3 brand new Wellbeing venues, dedicated to whatever suits your mood.
In The Solar Space, there are classes to energise and fitness sessions to blast out the cobwebs. The very best will be on hand to push you after your night in the Valley, with HIIT and Barre workouts with Third Space and Boxercise with Bodyism. Or dance yourself fit with At Your Beat or at Frame’s dance cardio class. Or the Boys of Yoga will be on hand to power you up with Vinyasa.
In The Yoga Sphere, you’ll find yoga of every persuasion, with the highest quality teachers. There are masterclasses with those that know, Yogi Ashokananda, Kathryn McCusker and Bridget Kramer Woods, and every type of yoga you can imagine: dynamic, hatha, acro-yoga and even a Yoga Rave. Wilderness wants you to try brand new things like acro-fit and Group Formations yoga with Nine Lives Yoga. Be inspired meeting brilliant new people, like OurMala, who work with refugees and healing yoga, or The Special Yoga Centre, who do family yoga. Drop in for a class or stay all day and discover new ideas and practice.
And in The Lunar Sphere a place to escape for calming energy, workshops and meditation. Learn the Yoga Sleep Method with Natasha Kerry or discover ‘Self Care for Busy Minds’ presented by global holistic icon, Julie Montagu. Also on hand to help maintain those all important energy levels will be Rebel Kitchen’s Tamara Arbib.
Refinery29 will be presenting Self-defence classes, a course for women in collaboration with Somalian boxer Ramla Ali. Using Ramla’s technical knowledge and pragmatic life experience, this session teaches practical personal safety and aims to help you feel that little bit more self-confident.
There is also an array of outdoor classes allowing festival goers to experience the stunning landscape of Cornbury Park, Wilderness’ home, with paddleboard yoga on emerald lakes, and secret yoga in the woods with Top Yogi, Tania Brown who will be hidden within the wilderness.
Organic beauty specialists, Neals Yard return to The Sanctuary spritzing you with heavenly products and will be offering a place to sit, reflect and recharge. A chance to chill and refill your bottles surrounded by flowers.
