Want to know what a Communications Manager spends on her wellbeing, pre and post covid? We ask all the hard-hitting questions like “what is the most extravagant thing you’ve ever done for your wellbeing?” and “what are you most excited about splashing your cash on now the lockdown has lifted?”…
What I spend on my wellbeing pre and post covid
What is your job title?
How much do you earn?
Gym membership, pay-as-you-go classes or both?
How much do you spend on your wellbeing per month?
How did your spending habits change during lockdown?
Quite a lot. At first I did a lot of online shopping but calmed down quite quickly. I’ve been able to save as I haven’t been spending so much on travel, gym classes and avocado on toast!
What are you most excited about splashing your cash on now the lockdown has lifted?
Eating and drinking out! I want to visit my favourite restaurants and bars with my friends and support local places.
Are there any wellness habits that you picked up during lockdown that you will continue?
Running. I am a total convert to running outside since lockdown and it’s something I definitely plan to keep up. I have cancelled my Gym membership and got the Peleton App so will now only treat myself to a spin class every now and then I think.
What is the most extravagant thing you’ve ever done for your wellbeing?
I’ve not done a fitness retreat but would love to look to do one in Ibiza when they open again. Other than that, just buying the Barry’s and Psycle packs of classes I think.
If you don’t work out regularly and eat healthily, how do you feel?
Quite stressed and sluggish
Are you ready to travel yet, if so, what have you got planned?
Just UK travel for now. I was meant to be going to LA in October but that seems very unlikely and the idea of 11 hours wearing a mask isn’t super appealing.
