While we all have a lot more time on our hands, this make at home green tea face mask recipe will be a great addition to your skin routine.
This Green Tea And Lemon Juice Facial Mask is a great start!
1. Take 2 tablespoons of brewed green tea (cooled), ½ teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder. Turmeric powder is known for its anti-inflammatory properties that fight acne, eczema and many other skin conditions. It also acts as a potent antioxidant to lighten dark spots, blemishes, sunspots, etc.
2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Pat the mask over a cleansed face. Wait a few minutes for it to dry out and repeat. When all of the mixture is finished, let it sit on your face for about 10 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water and pat dry your face.
Tip: If the turmeric powder stains your skin, use a sugar scrub to get rid of it. Also either reduce the quantity of turmeric powder or use lemon juice and green tea only without using turmeric powder. Even the green tea and lemon juice alone are beneficial to the skin!
