What is a Babka?
Babka is a sweet braided bread or cake made of a rich brioche dough, traditionally with a cinnamon or chocolate filling.
Hot Cross Bun Babka Meal Kit
Shuk; have mixed their secret babka dough recipe with earl grey infused dried fruit, a little citrus, hot cross bun spices and a generous dollop of crème patissiere, to create this Easter special. With a long weekend ahead, it’s a great activity to do at home and then enjoy.
The kit includes everything needed to get baking. Shuk; have done the messy bit with the mixer so all you need to do is roll the dough, add the Hot Cross Bun toppings, shape, prove and bake it.
The Easter Babka kit includes:
1 x set of instructions.
1 x babka dough
1 x flour for rolling
1 x vanilla crème patissiere
1 x fruit & spice mix
1 x cookie crumble
1 x babka baking mould
1 x cinnamon syrup
