At the start of the year, Holland & Barrett became the first high street store to stock medical cannabis oil in the UK. Now, London welcomes it’s first CBD boutique in Camden Town. Inside you’ll find no glass bongs, disposable vapes or pot paraphernalia, but supplements, premium essential oil extracts, capsules, gummies, creams, serums and balms. CBD facial anyone? We hear the owners are working on treatment rooms downstairs that will offer everything from facials and massages to yoga and sound baths that will incorporate the plant based product.
According to the Cannabis Trades Association UK, the number of cannabidiol (CBD) users has doubled over the past year from 125,000 to 250,000. And if the success of Jacob Hooy’s CBD+Oil at Holland & Barrett is anything to go by, LDN CBD is sure to prove popular with the cannabis curious crowd.
Used by many to ease symptoms of various ailments from joint pain and multiple sclerosis to anxiety and depression, CBD oil does not produce a high as it contains less than 0.2 per cent of the psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol – as such, it is legal to buy and consume in the UK.
“This is London’s first Boutique CBD shop offering an experience outside of the old style headshops and cafes associated with cannabis culture, moving the plant extracts into the 21st century”, explains its owner Aaron Horn. “Right now, around the world, these Cannabidiol products are available and it’s time that London has its own sanctuary for consumers – especially those who are not comfortable with its counter culture past.”
Stocking only 100% legal and lab-tested products, LDN CBD ensures the highest quality standards, setting customer experience and satisfaction as their main priority. Stocked brands include:
